Sarah Hemming

My name is Sarah Hemming, I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry and Immunology/Microbiology in 2010. I was accepted to undertake honours with the Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) laboratory in 2011 and graduate with first class honours at the end of 2011. I was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) and Royal Adelaide Hospitals Dawes top up scholarship in 2012 and began my PhD studies with professor Stan Gronthos MSC laboratory. My PhD research focuses on the role of epigenetic modifiers in MSC growth and differentiation. Furthermore, I am focusing on the role of epigenetic modifier Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2 (EZH2) in skeletal development.
