Seakcheng Lim
My name is Seakcheng Lim, I am a final year PhD candidate at the University of Western Sydney under the supervision of Dr. Michael O’Connor. The abstract submitted for this conference is titled ‘Investigating the role of RBBP9 activities in human pluripotent stem cell maintenance’, authored by Seakcheng Lim and Dr. Michael O’Connor. During my candidature I have compared gene expression changes identified with loss of RBBP9 serine hydrolase activity with siRNA- mediated RBBP9 protein loss and investigated their effects in pluripotency maintenance in human pluripotent stem cells. I have also investigated the effects of RBBP9 activity loss in embryonic development using a zebrafish model.
