Julie-Ann Hulin
Julie-Ann Hulin gained her Bachelor Degree of Medical Science from the Flinders University of South Australia in 2008 and completed Honours under the supervision of Prof. Peter Mackenzie in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders University in 2009. Following Honours she worked as a research assistant within the same department under supervision of Dr. Robyn Meech for two years, before commencing her PhD candidature in March 2011 with Dr. Meech. She was awarded a Flinders University Research Scholarship and an Australian Stem Cell Centre top-up scholarship to undertake her PhD on the role of homeobox factors and Wnt signalling in the regulation of muscle stem cells. To date, Julie-Ann has been awarded numerous travel scholarships from Flinders University, ASSCR and NSCFA to attend the ASSCR annual meetings and also the 2014 ISSCR meeting held in Vancouver.
